Born in Valencia by the Mediterranean, her work is shaped by nature, memory and the places she has lived.

Origin
Born in Valencia by the Mediterranean, Paula began painting at the age of ten.
Nature has remained a constant presence in her work — not as something to reproduce, but as a source of colour, texture and memory.
More than a decade living across Italy, the United Kingdom and South Korea brought other landscapes, cultures and ways of seeing into her work. Valencia remains the point of return.
The practice
Paint, natural pigments, texture and reused materials form a language that moves between landscape and abstraction.
The work begins with material — its surface, weight, imperfection and transformation.
Increasingly, that language extends beyond the canvas into objects, commissioned pieces and spaces.
Another way of looking
Before art became a practice, there was engineering.
Paula trained as a civil engineer before later completing an MBA in Seoul.
That background continues to shape the way she approaches material, structure, scale and space.
